Tooth Ache-Help!?

I have a really bad toothache and I don't know what to do for it. I need to go see a dentist, but until I can get there, does anyone know what I can do to try to help with the pain?

I've already taken a 600mg Ibuprofen and that hasn't done anything at all.

I've also used some OraJel, but for some reason that just made the pain worse.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you all for your answers, but it's not infected. It's just a cavity that I haven't gotten fixed yet.

You need to go to a store that sells clove oil.

Then you need to put about 4 drips of it onto a piece of fluff or something similar and dab it on the painful site.

Do not use too much of the oil.
Do not swallow the oil.
