Denture help for mom?
My mom has had dentures since she was in high school, she is now 50 and is wearing the same denture plate she got then, she has no dental ins, and cannot afford to replace them, he smile is terrible and some of the teeth from the denture are missing and makes it difficult for her to eat. I would love nothing more then to be able to pay for her to have them replaced, however its not in my budget either. Does anyone know of a dental program that would replace dentures for free?? Thanks

If there is a dental school in your vicinity, bring your mom there to be treated by a dental student. Dental schools typically charge half what a private dentist charges for dentures, and the quality of care is quite good (the dental students are supervised, of course).
