Do pain killers get in the way of a root canal proceedure?!

Question:

Do pain killers get in the way of a root canal proceedure?

Answers:

I'm assuming you mean over-the-counter ones you might use. Aspirin can interfere with blood clotting, so patients are sometimes told not to take it ten days before the operation so that you don't bleed as much during the operation and so the heaing is faster. But, generally, there should be no problem.
Follow your dental surgeon's advice on this.
