Septoplasty - Resulting in sore teeth & gums?!

Question: I just had my Septoplasty performed two days ago. my nose doesn't really bother me besides feeling caked inside but more my teeth & gums. I think brushing my teeth makes it feel temporarily better.

Anyone else had the same thing or an idea why?

You might feel uncomfortable for 4 or 5 days; this is normal. It's common after a septoplasty to have mouth, teeth and/or gum pain.

Usually, the doctor will prescribe something for pain as well as an antibiotic to prevent infection. Please call your doctor if the pain becomes worse or persists beyond a few more days.

I hope this helps. I wish you a speedy recovery..good luck!
