I cracked a tooth on a foreign object in a can of chicken. Should/could I sue?!
Question: The "object" was in two pieces, and looked like a broken piece of the machinery from the factory. I've got the pieces, the can, the receipt, and the label.
I need to get my tooth fixed - and I'm sure that they (Valley Fresh) will pay the bill. However, I just need to know from a legal standpoint - What should I do? What could I do legally? Who do I contact first - Dentist, the company, or the lawyer.
I don't want to come across as a heel or a tool, but that really hurt, and my dentist is NOT a dentist just so he can pick up chicks. He's expensive!

Lawyer first.
You have a legitimite case / concern so don't let people make you feel bad
You'll probably be double-checking food that is SUPPOSED to be safe & clean - for the rest of your life because of this !
It's definitely worth persuing.
yepp you should sue.
if the dentist bill is expensive enough i couldn't see why you wouldn't be able to sue.
you have a case for the dental work plus sme amount for pain and suffering.
If you want to purdue this hire a lawyer and have him contact the company.
they will probably settle out of court, which i cheaper for both of you.
Yes you can but you won't win , cause you can't prove it. The company will have a battery of lawyers on retainer!! DMD here son is an attorney they charge $350 an hour!!
