Question: So I was eating a hershey kiss and then all of a sudden one my brace got really loose and was hanging down. So i made an appointment tommorow morning to get it fixed. Will I have to wear my braces for another year now since a brace came off?

they should just fix ur brace back on...they wont just take it off because its got loose and fallen down :-) x

Your Brace Has Only Been Off A Day So i Dont Think An Extra Year Will Be Needed.
Because you're getting it fixed immediately I would seriously doubt that your braces will stay on a whole extra year! You should be fine but you did the right thing contacting your orthodontist right away. Good Luck!
uhm im not sure but, i doubt it. was it just the bracket? cuz my friends bracket broke and she just got it reglued on.
as long as they all didnt come off i guess you should be fine! good luck though!

Definitley not. My friend ran into a wall and 3 of her brackets popped off. Just go to your dentist/orthadontist and they'll reattach them. Everything'll be fine.

Hee hee... Noooooooo!! I used to pop my brace off a lot whenever I was chewing on pen tops at school. I used to wait until the next visit to fix them. Im sure it might have set me back a month- but nothing serious!
I seriously doubt it. Having a brace bracket come loose for a day won't make you lose a whole year's worth of orthodontic progress.

It shouldn't be a problem, since it was only off for less than a day or so. It takes a while for braces to move your teeth, as you are only too well aware of, and they move back into their original position about as slowly.
Uh no, maybe an extra day to make up for this one. At the end they keep them on a little while longer anyways to be sure your teeth are in place. This will make barely any difference.
No. The braces move your teeth gradually, they move back gradually without the braces.
They will not have moved back a years worth in a matter of days.
