I had a Molar Pulled 2 weeks ago and my Dentict Gave me?!
Question: 4 Penicillian Pills to take before hand because I have Knee Implants, and this is to prevent a bacteria Infection from occuring. I told him I was Allergic to Penicillian because it would always give me an Oral yeast Infection but he said it would work faster in the System and gave it to me anyway. Well I got the Oral yeast infection and was told to Gargle with Peroxide/Water Mix. Well my Mouth finally got well but now I am having Throat Spasms? Could this be related or is this another health concern? I Googled it and it said take Prilocet for Indigestion but that has not helped at all..Any Suggestions?

It is True that Penicillian will get into your Blood Stream faster than other Antibiotics, but you told your Dentist it gave you oral yeast Infections and he overlooked your warning. Call your Dentist and tell him you need an AntiYeast Medicine such as Monistatin Oral. This should do the trick and Don't let anyone pressure you in the Future to take something, you know is not good for you...
First of all, your dentist should have given you a different premedication to take since you get the yeast infection as a side effect from the Penicillin... he should have at least told you to get some Acidophilus to help prevent a yeast infection.
You may want to visit your MD and see what he/she says...don't Google your health issues unless you plan on following up with a professional............

AND since you KNEW that the penicillin would give you the infection, no matter WHAT your dentist said to pressure you, YOU shouldn
