OHH YEHH!!>. Get an appointment as early as possible. The more you delay its getting worst and chances are you may have to be treated very seriously. .... All I can guess why your're having the pain is that, it maybe your tooth is sensitive, it have too much cavity and need dental cleaning, its have tiny cracked in the teeth where germs/ bacteria build up and can infect the pulp area which ended up in pains or swelling.

Book and appointment with your dental hygienist. Meanwhile brush, floss veryy regulary and rinse your mouth with sensitive mouth wash.

Is it sensitivity?
Try a sensitivity toothpaste.
Definately see the dentist when in doubt.

you could be losing enamel in your teeth, causing intense sensitivity. you should definitely schedule an appointment with a dentist.

When in doubt, yank it out!! LOL just kidding! You should def go see a dentist, especially since it is keeping you up at night..

sounds like a cavity in a tooth that has led to the tooth needing a root canal(not as horrific as everyone thinks). call your dentist but more than likely you will need to see an endodontist

Yes you need to see a dentist or dental hygienist if you havent been in more than 8 months I would say. You need regularly dental cleanings. Oral health is part of overrall health. For now go buy any sensitivity toothpaste such as sensodyne, crest sensitivity or crest prohealth. Use that for 4 weeks and the sensitivity should go away. If it doesnt then it could mean you have a cavity or something else.
