why does i cant really submerge my teeth into cold water?im grimacing in pain when i do.any particular reason?

Well if it just started happening you've probably got a cavity. If you've just been to the dentist recently and had a cavity filled it wasn't done properly and needs to be redrilled. You could also have developed a gum disease if many of your teeth are sore and you'll of course need to go see the dentist. I've got a bad filling right now that has to be redrilled and the cold water drives me nuts so I know how you feel. Good luck!
