Question about dental cap for my tooth...?
i have a tooth have it too skinny in the front of my mouth, it's like it didnt ever grow in fully... there's is still like a dent where the rest of it could have been but it just never puffed out. im not quite sure how to explain it.
but anyways, my question is, what do they have to do to put a cap on a tooth? does it hurt?
Answers:
A crown is one option; composite bonding is another. The dentist will place a filling around the tooth to 'bulk it up,' in essence. It's a sturdy, reliable option; depending on your doctor, it is also cost-effective (cheaper).
Your gums may be irritated, but it does not hurt the way you are thinking, no.
