I think my lip ring is infected..?!
Question: I've been to the piercing place and they said it was fine, but it if I push on the little bump around the ring yellow-ish stuff comes out, I'm very worried, and this is not my first lip piercing, but I can't remember much from the first time.
It's been in for about 5 1/2 weeks and I want to change the ring, bad idea?

I do know that you should only use real materials for piercings, i.e. gold, silver, platinum, etc... Peroxide works to kill infections. Just don't swallow it. Pour it on, wait for it to bubble for a few seconds, spit it out.
Washing your mouth out with Peroxide every day for about 30 seconds also kills bacteria better than any mouthwash and helps to whiten your teeth. It does taste like **** though.
When I got my first piercing, the guy told me to mix warm water and salt e wash the piercing and the skin with it. It worked just fine for me.
raunchy, just drink warm salt water and swish it around. and then see a diferent piercing place....
