Whats some of the most annoying things your dentists assistant does?!
Question: im an assistant for an orthodontist and was just wondering if i ever do anything that really annoys our patients. i usually just say hi, hows it going etc... just make small talk unless they talk more... i see them every six weeks so dont want to be asking the same things over and over again...
any suggestions??

You could always ask them if 'anything is new' since you last saw them... then they start the conversation and you won't be repeating yourself from their last visit.

By saying you are very, very nervous just relax. It is so hard to relax at a dentist surgery
I find that the dentists assistants are many curious ones...
It's annoying when the assistant is like REALLY REALLY overtalkative. Sometimes I have this assistant and whenever the dentist leaves the room she just starts talking and talking and talking..I guess its not THAT annoying (i suppose some people like to talk!) but I just don't feel like having a full on conversation while my teeth are getting tortured =P
Oh and it's also kind annoying when they forget to use the spit sucking thing and you start drowing in your own saliva!
I caught him picking his nose and even though he wears gloves the thought gags me
Choking you with the sucker (or not giving it to you and you're drowning in spit and dirty water) and asking questions while their hand is in your mouth!
I also had one that would go crazy with the pick instead of using the floss and I was always sore when I left.
