Another Red Gum Question?!
Question:
Another Red Gum Question?
Hello,
I brush my teeth twice a day, and floss and rinse my mouth with listerine at night. My gums at the top only are red but not puffy. My front upper teeth are a little on the tender side when pressed on. I wear braces, a friend of mine tells me that it's normal sometimes for gums to be red because teeth are moving. But I'm not sure if that's the case. Is she right? What else can I do to bring em back on the pink side (at home first)?
Oh gawd do I need scalling done?
Thanks
Answers:
When you brush your teeth make sure pay close attention to brushing your gums also not just the teeth. Make circular motions with the brush and make sure you are using a soft brissell tooth brush not a hard or med. they can cause more problems. It will continue to be red and bleed for a few more days but should get better. If not you might have to get some scaling done
