I am going to school for a dental hygentist, should I get an associate or a bache!
Question:
I am going to school for a dental hygentist, should I get an associate or a bachelor degree?
From the information I have been reading all you need is an associate to be a hygentist. Maybe I should go be a dentist.
Answers:
I have an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene, and I get paid VERY well (but please don't think that I'm bragging).
I don't think getting a bachelor's degree will necessarily make you more money.
Most hygienists have associate's degree and are perfectly happy.
Some people get their Bachelor's degree so they can eventually teach dental hygiene classes at colleges.
Really, it comes down to what your preference (or financial situation) is.
Hope this helps.
