It will be fine. You will sit in a comfortable dentist's chair, listen to music. The dentist will give you a numbing agent via a Q-Tip so your gums will not feel the anesthetic that will be administered. You might feel a pinch - if that. Also, s/he will shake your jaw a little. I did not feel it at all. Then you will feel a rocking sensation and it's all over.
Make sure you take your meds as directed, and rest afterwards - it helps you to heal faster.
