How can you tell which set of teeth are your wisdom teeth?!
Question:
How can you tell which set of teeth are your wisdom teeth?
i think mine are coming in but i have no clue. ahh only one side of my back teeth hurt. also, removing them: does it hurt as bad as other people say it does?
Answers:
The wisdom teeth are commonly called the third molars because they erupt behind the first and second molars at the top and bottom of your mouth (basically at the very back of your gums). They are usually the last teeth to erupt in adults usually between the ages of 17-23. It is common to have these teeth removed because they tend to cause crowding of your other teeth and have also been know to cause something called pericornitis, which is just a fancy word for irritation of the gums surrounding the third molars.
