Im seein d dentist soon~ need your immediate help!?

So i have gingivitis, worsened when i went for a dental cleaning. My gum feels burned and inflamed. Would de dentist still have to clean my teeth now? Tomorow im scheduled for a root canal. Would they stil work on me even if my gum feels very uncomfortable? Also, what do you do when you have gingivitis except brushing, flossing, and rinsing with mouthwash? Do i wait it out? cos it is kinda painful whenever i eat.

The cleaner you keep your teeth the easier it will be for the gums to heal. You may think the dentist made your gums worse but what he did was take all the plaque and tartar off your teeth that was sitting below the gum line and that does irritate the gums to start with. Rinse with warm salt water and continuing brushing regularly. Root canal can be rescheduled if you are too uncomfortable. It is all based on which is worse for you, the gums being sore or the tooth needing root canal giving you pain.
