This can be a cause for concern for people.
If you really don't like the way they look, there are simple procedures that can be done to correct it.
The most obvious procedure is something called Crown Lengthening (CL). Usually, people with 'gummy' smiles have very short teeth. The short teeth with a lot of gum showing, adds up to a 'unattractive' smile.
CL allows the dentist to move your gums away from your teeth, that way your teeth look longer and the gums are less noticeable.

i have the same issue. i HATE it with a passion. people always tell me i have a pretty smile tho. my fiance knows when i'm overly excited because i'm "all gums"
