Question: Does EVERY doctor/dentist/veterinarean accept CARE CREDIT, or only certain ones?
I have minimal dental insurance and am in dire need od getting a wisdom tooth pulled. Do I have to find a dentist that not only accepts my insurance, but ALSO accepts Care Credit, or do ALL dentists accept Care Credit?

Sorry, not all dentists accept care credit. They have to be under contract with care credit and pay a fee to accept the card and get the electronics necessary. However, many dentists do take it and you should be able to find one pretty easily. Good luck!
Not all dental offices accept Care Credit, but most are leaning toward it as well as other finance companies in order to avoid patients trying to make payment plans within the office. Since your concern is over the removal of a wisdom tooth, you need to check with your medical insurance and find out if they will pay anything on having it removed. They usually will if the tooth is still under the gum because it is considered a surgery. If it's already through the gum, your medical probably will not help you with it. I would also recommend you see an oral surgeon to have a wisdom tooth removed. It's a procedure they do daily, unlike a general dentist, and they offer sedation to help make your experience more comfortable.
See if you can work out a financing deal with your dentist. Do you have Delta Dental or Tricare coverage? Their member services number on the back of your card should be able to tell you which dentists will take your plan in your area. These cards usually have astronomical financing rates and if you are late even once the deal is off .
