Braces- open bite?!
Question: i just went to my dentist and he told me that i have an open bite and i might need braces. he told me to go to an orthodontist to see if i really need them. does anyone know if there is anyother way of correcting it without braces?

Occasionally this can be treated with a removable device such as a biteplate. However, this requires good patient compliance. Your orthodontist will see if your situation requires a more complicated device. This cannot be determined without examining you and taking all necessary x-rays.

Braces are the only sure-fire way of correcting problem with your teeth that I know of. They're annoying, but it's worth it in the long run.
You can have surgery but that's too expensive and painful.
Just wear the braces, it only lasts from 1 - 3 years

braces. If you want them to be less noticeable, try ceramic braces. =]
i know invisal line , but you may need braces . At your age i would . i Am 13 going on 14 . and i am getting them on jan 31. go see an ortho there ones that can realy tell you
