Rubber band in braces??!
Question: I currently have braces and have worn rubber bands on them for a couple of months. it hasn't been hurting for a long time since the day i got them, but for these past two weeks, my teeth literally feel like they're about to break. like my teeth can't breathe or something. is this normal?

That probably means they're working, so you should probably keep wearing them. I never wore mine, and i still have an overbite. If it's like, unbearable pain though, ask your orthodontist if it doesn't lessen, there could be something wrong with your braces.
My daughter, who had to wear rubber bands with her braces for a while, says that's quite normal.
Very normal. They are doing their job. Keep wearing the bands and make some milkshakes and soup!
i hav the same problem...stinks doesnt it???
just keep wearing them.
what I do is I wear them until me teeth feel like that, then I take a break untill it stops hurting then I put them back on. =]
