Please Help ME!!!!Braces!!!!?!
Question: Okay. I know I have already asked this same question but I didn't get many answers so I am going to reask it..Ok, So I am getting braces in about 11 days!!My orthodontist has given me the choice between ceramic(clear) braces and metal ones. AT first I was so sure I was going to get the ceramic braces but then I found a whole bunch of people saying they were ugly and they stained really easy. Most people that said these things had never worn them so i have no idea what to believe!!! If you have any information on Ceramic or Metal braces PLEASE help me out!!

I would put the clear one on.. Not ceramic but ice-coloured brackets.. :) i'm kinda worried , too i'll put them on in 1month :S byebye
I think the metal ones-keep to tradition.
Metal are cheaper, easier to clean, and just more comfortable.
just get the metal ones.
your teeth will probably look better in the end.
I would get the metal braces... I've seen pple with ceramic and its kinda gross, it looks like they have yellow teeth and they need to be brushed. metal is better :)
metal, you don't have to worry abut stains and cermaic can slow down the process and since it's glass it can break easily since it's made out of glass
I am an orthodontic assistant and I know that the ceramic ones break off easily and take longer to move your teeth. Also the ceramic ones do stain and make your teeth look yellow, and like you have tartar or plaque on them.

well ceramic ones do stain tons of kids in my grade have them and after spigete thursday they look all red . and they stain easly . get metal they will be off quicker. i am getting mine jan 31
get the heavy duty metal ones........they are better with moving the teeth faster and easier.....no ceramic.....
