What can i do with the ground clove?!


Question: that is the nearest appt and they have me on stand by in case of cancellation.in the mean time what can i do at home? i can't even sleep. please give me some type of remedy

Hi, it's me again. I did update my comment in your previous question, but will post it here to help you. You asked about ground cloves and here's what i found for you. "1/2 tsp. of ground clove and a few drops of water to create a paste.
Apply this directly to the site of the pain and allow it to sit.
Within normally a few minutes, the anestetic properties of the clove will take affect and deaden the pain at the tooths root.
Leave the paste in place as long as possible. It's non-harmful if swallowed so allowing for normal swallowing.
This normally lasts for several hours"

i've heard that clove oil works better, but have never tried either myself, so only going on what i've heard.

UPDATE: call your local health food store or pharmacy to see if they have clove oil. Put the oil on a cotton ball and bite on it.

I use clove oil on teeth pain. I put the liquid on a q-tip and swab the tooth well.

Take aspirin. Keep all sugar out of mouth.
