Most work the exact same. The prime ingredient in toothpaste, fluoride, is the only proven chemical to help protect teeth. Some have whiteners, but their claims of benefits are usually not proven, and there is almost always not enough long term tests to see if they cause damage. I started brushing 3 times a day, and my teeth are naturally pretty white. Bright white teeth are not natural healthy teeth.

I go with taste, so I like Aquafresh.

Obviously, bargain toothpaste made in China is a bad idea.

Almost every brand of toothpaste work the same.

My hygienist uses a regular toothpaste with flouride. I commented to her that I was using one of the higher-priced toothpastes (the ones that supposedly have more benefits). She and the dentist both said that the regular toothpastes are just as good as the higher priced ones. So, from now on, instead of buying "complete" or "total" toothpaste, I am buying the regular ones. As long as it has flouride and has a good taste (minty), it will be as good as the ones that are supposed to fight gingivitis, etc. A toothpaste with baking soda in the formula is good, but they're hard to find, sometimes.

I recommend a natural toothpaste without fluoride and sodium lauryl sulfate. Now some may disagree but if you research these chemicals they you will find fluoride is a bi- product of aluminum and sodium lauryl sulfate is used in many things such as engine degreasers and industrial cleaners and the list goes on.So be cautious. I almost cried when i researched the ingredients in my kids toothpaste and found out what they put into it. My theory is no poison is acceptable not even a little.I do rinse but did you know that your mouth is the most absorbent part of your body.Think about that and what (including the water you rinse with) do when absorbed into your mouth.I don't want to preach but i want to let people know .We need to inform each other because this so called "big brother" that we trust has sold us out .Read before you buy! Thanks!

Colgate Total is one of the best out there on the market. I recommend to friends, family and patients.
Example....my brother get cravities like crazy its weird but he switched to Colgate Total and since then I swear to you he hasn't had a single cavity. Its been over a year now. The stuff is truly amazing and it doesn't cost to much.

Try Maximum Teeth Whitening and see what it's got to have that pearly white smile for just a minimum time. I swear, using this brand is perfect decision.
