I have a wisdom tooth coming in (i think...)?!
Question: My gums in the back of my mouth are swollen and i think i have a wisdom tooth coming in. I dont have time to see a dentist, but i wanted some advice for the pain. Its not EXTREMELY painful...i just have pressure and the gums are semi-sensitive. Any ideas for killing the pain??

Take some ibuprofen. You can also rinse with warm salt water 2-3x a day. Other than that you just have to grin & bear it.
Well if it's swollen It is a wisdom tooth and it is also in the back it probably is.....I had mine taken out at 14...but...age is nothing but a number for a wisdom tooth to come in the teens...
I got my wisdom teeth when I was 16 and the best way I found to dull the pain is do what babies do chew on stuff. I always had gum and chewed with the area that hurt and it seemed to ease the pain.
I have the same thing, and I just chew gum. It really helps
i would call around for a dentist that will take payments-and then actually go (and not cancel like i have in the past!).
