IF I GOT A CAP ABOUT A YEAR AGO.....WHY WOULD THAT SAME TOOTH BE PAINFUL NOW???

decay can happen under the tooth(capped tooth) unfortunatley this can still happen..was it root canaled?if not may need one..or tooth could just be infected..make an emergency appointment with a dentist they will bring you in immediately to get you out of pain...
