Is this dental logic?!

Question:

Is this dental logic?

I had all dental treatments needed finished two weaks ago - inclusive fillings, abscess and cleaning of my teeth. Since then, i have sensitivity whether im eating/drinking cold stuff or eating/drinking hot stuff. What is this? Undoubtedly, it is because of the dental treatments especially cleaning teeth followed directly by fillings and the like. What can i do? I feel this throbbing pain after i eat for 10 minutes. Then, it vanishes. It doesnt bother me alot, but i mind it.

Could it also be that i dont sleep well or enough that affects the gum nerves? It is not the teeth hurting, it is the area around it especially my left cheek, causing jaw pain and the like. In addition. my left teeth are root-canaled.

I dont think i need to get back to the dentist. I talked to the mouth hygienist. She believes it is normal. But it has been two weeks now. I am looking for relief.

Answers:

had is been a while since you had a cleaning? it could just be that she had to do a lot of scraping off tarter buildup. this can make your gums a little sore for a bit. Rinse with warm salt water daily. GENTLY brush with a soft brush and floss daily. also use Listerine mixed with half water. Give it another week or so before calling them back.

also-take ibuprofen
