What's the side effect of wearing braces?

if a person who doesnt need ortho treatment wear braces, what's the side effect... could u give me the source of your answer?

I guess it would just hurt a lot. Because you don't need them, they would push your teeth together and ur tteth would be horribly messed up. I'm sure if you don't need braces the orthodontist would refuse to give you braces. Don't just et them because they look cool. They hurt! You won't be able to eat certain things.
