It's a natural function of the body protecting itself. Eat as much as you are supposed to, and your body may let go of some of the fat. The hard part is knowing how much you need to eat. That depends on your metabolism, activity, gender, ect.
Adding exercise and drinking more water will speed up your metabolism and help you burn fat. There is no magic way to lose weight, just the right way.
