Yeah...you are probably dehydrated and working out without fuel.
I suggest you drink about a gallon of water a day or at least a glass per hour...it will keep you hydrated. As far as the fuel is concerned, i suggest you take around 50 to 75 gm of complex carbs 1-2 hr before workout...
Try to start light. your body adjusts with time and may bee your sedentary LifeStyle made it lazy as well......
I can relate: whenever i do running laps in P.E i feel dizzy. The cause: My breakfast didn't contain enough energy for me to run like that. When i go to the gym i make sure i eat alot of fast digesting carbs, like brown rice,pasta or beans. Also make sure you eat some protein along like from whey yoghurt or some chicken, not meat.
5'8 180lbs is overweight, especially for a woman.
If you're getting a headache it's probably because you're not eating before you workout
Stay hydrated. I had this same problem actually yesterday. You might need to take an anti-inflammatory prior or after.
