Try doing walkovers, they are kind of hard when you first start, and start by doing half a back bend, grabbing a chair, then going the rest of the way down, and having someone spot you flipping over. After you master them, you can do like 50 in a row, and it does wonders for your abs and legs! Back walkovers do a lot for your arms, too. If you can't get it down, just try doing a backbend, coming back up, backbend, up, backbend, up, ect.
Also, theres this game where you watch TV, and on the commrcials every time you see a skinny/average/pretty person, you must do some sort or exercise. Ex. 2 crunches, a push-up, a lunge. And every time you see a fat person, you get to eat something, like a spoonful of ice cream (It can't be something big!) You can do it with or without the eating part.
I definitely recommend doing push ups or even get a cheap dumbell set and do bicep curls, don't worry you won't become ripped. It will increase just tone you up and becoming ripped can take years but becoming toned is much quicker. If you want a six pack I would also recommend sit ups, but don't overdo the push ups and sit ups only do it every two days, or do one day push ups and one day sit ups.
Or you can even take up water aerobics as a hobby to keep you fit.
