I excersize the whole week for about and hour a day!
Don't look at it as a requirement but you should do it. If your trying to lose a lot of weight, I suggest 4 times a week. Lastly, if you exercise a day don't exercise the next so your body can recover from the strain. Keep it short, and keep it intense. Good luck.
You should think of weight loss in terms of permanently changing your eating habits. While weight-loss goals are usually set in term of weeks, the end game is to sustain these changes over months and years, ie lifestyle change for life.
