Question: How can I lose anywhere from 20 to 45 pounds by June?
I weighed myself today after I worked out. I weight 111 pounds, am 61 inches tall, and I am 19 years old. Before I graduated high school, people would call me a fatty, fat woman, and then would say go away fatty to me. These same people send me messages on facebook telling me I am fat and I need to lose 20 to 50 pounds. It makes me feel very sad that they are saying this. I drink 1 soda a week, have ice cream, cake, pies and casseroles on special occasions only, drink at least 2 cups of tea each day, no coffee. Please someone tell me how I can lose this much weight or at least tone up so people would STOP sending me this MEAN messages to me?

You are asking to lose lots of weight mostly due to other people who make nasty comments. Can you close your account? Maybe, lose five lbs, but not that much as you stated above. I would eat a diet rich in fish and green vegetables and citrus fruit. For myself, I never drink soda nor celebrate with feasting on starchy concoctions. So, if you wish, work out more, eat better, lose five lbs., cross these people off as friends. Ignore them. Get your hair done nicely, go move and live elsewhere where people are nicer, in general, like Minnesota. Those mean people will keep bothering you for no good reason, and I think you can stop them by being unavailable.



A person thats only 5'1 foot tall should be 101 - 123 lbs. So you are in that weight category, so your not fat, you are normal. If you do want to loss 10 pounds i'm sure that would be fine, stop drinking pop, continue eating healthy. attempt to avoid stress, work out, and eat protein.. protein doesn't just build muscle, it works against fat.

you weight only 111 pounds and 6 feet 1 inch you don't need to lose weight instead try to work out and get some muscles i believe you are under weight.

First of all, you don't need to lose 20 to 50 pounds. That's insane. But you probably do need to change your diet pretty drastically.

The best thing you can do is cut out anything with a high glycemic index. That basically means anything with a lot of sugar, and particularly anything with processed sugar (see my source link for more on that). The idea is that you almost never want to eat any food with a medium or high glycemic index. This means that you should limit your intake of carbs and sugars. So that tea could be worse for you than your soda if you're putting sugar in it. I highly recommend unsweetened green tea as it's delicious and is a really good source of nutrients (plus it helps you burn fat).

If you really want to lose weight, there are two things I highly recommend. The first is to go to the gym every other day. Do at least 40 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weights. The second thing you should do is to cut out any foods with a higher glycemic index from your diet.

I will say that as you are 5'1" tall, you probably shouldn't lose more than 15 pounds at a maximum, unless you are of a particularly slim build. Talk with your doctor if you disagree, but the last thing you want to do is to do permanent damage to your body.
