Will i be able to loose weight in time for summer?!


Question: Will i be able to loose weight in time for summer?
right now im around 140
i want to get around 110 pounds in time for june, is that possible?
i know how to loose weight i've done it before but does anyone have tips for fast weight loss?
and what amount of calories should i eat a day to reach my goal by June?

The basic diet program, which needs
1. Exercise
2. Veggies
3. Proteins for Exercise
4. Most Importante, Determination.



Last year I lost around 40 pounds very quickly. If you want to lose weight I would limit myself to around 1200 calories per day and work out for an hour every night. The best place to work out is the gym. At the gym there are people working out everywhere as opposed at home where there is only you. This makes you more motivated and you will work harder and longer. Also in the gym, there a lot more things for you to do excercise wise. Be careful not to starve yourself thoughm or you will get sick. Eat a lot of fruits and vegatables. At the gym, I would do a half hour of cardio (treadmill, eliptical, steps machine etc.) And a half hour of weight toning.

next i would eat high protein things like eggs in the mornings if you eat 1 egg just go head and eat egg whites but if you have 2 eggs you may leave 1 yolk in there for every 2 whites next if you really want to lose it drink whey protein you can find it at your local walmart get the powder stuff so you can mix it with 1% milk skim milk or water warning it taste bad so i would recommend chocolate flavor it taste the best take 1 scoop for diet with i think it is 12 or 8oz of your 1% milk skim milk or water i forget read the direction and also go head and jog every morning dot head straight for like 8 miles start out at a mile and work your way u also work out with weights do sit-ups and push ups if you want got a pull up bar well they aren't that expensive so you can buy one for like 24 dollars do some pull ups too.

Yes!! i was 130 lbs around late december and right now im 110 lbs.
I kind of did the whole low carb thing but it was alot less strict.
I ate about 60 grams of carbs a day, and they wee all from fruits (only berries and eat minimally) and veggies (no breads) Not even whole wheat breads. My protein which was about 110-120 grams a day and they were all lean like chicken ground turkey (make sure its lean) tuna and eggs. Dont be afraid of the yolks in eggs because when you do low carb you should realy eat some fat and egg yolks are really good, i ate about 2-3 whole eggs a day and like 6 egg whites a day (i used egg beaters all whites and just used measuring cups). My fats were about 20-40 grams sometimes less. Fat is really something to worry about, just try sticking with high protein and low carb. I also ate 1% cottage cheese (do not use fat free cottage cheese it has more fake ingredients and more carbs actually)

I ate about 1200 calories but thats because im 5'2" and my maintenance calories is 1700 calories. And i just subtracte 500 cals from maintenance to get how much i need to lose weight. So do that with your calories, i would do it for you but you didnt post your height or age.

I also exercised but i just jogged about 2-4 miles 5-7 days a week. I used a pedometer and just jogged in place infront of my tv.

also dont get discouraged when the scale doesnt change numbers, just keep at it and you really will lose the weight, just do NOT give up.

you can eat how much you like if you stay within these 3 guidelines and still lose fat naturally and gradually. You should lose 10lbs each month on average.

1.eat only steamed lean meats, eggs, healthy fruits ,vegetables, nuts, grains, & yogurt..2. drink only water, juice, & milk..3. walk or do some physical exercise 1-3 hour every day.


(btw, recommend you also to buy an electronic food steamer ((Very cheap)) and a rice cooker as makes it very easy to prepare healthy meals ,,add a bit of olive oil and pepper, spices on top of steamed vegeatables, fish or chicken to add more taste if wish as these are healthy too.)



You might be able to do it or you might fail miserably.. it's up to you but you aren't planning to lose a lot.. not as much as I hope to lose by july/august.
It depends on how much effort you are going to put into it and if you have time and the know how.

But when people mention "fast weight loss" I always lose a little heart as it shows not a lot of determination to succeed.
I have found it takes much more to lose weight than it takes to put it on. I am swimming for FIVE hours, totaling 10kms and after all that, the scale doesn't even change. It might change a tittle but I need a lense to see a change and so I don't even weigh myself .

But do I care? nope. I am aiming to swim my 10 kms in 4 hours now, not five. That's my aim.

You should have a similar goal to mine since we both want to achieve the same thing..
actually I still disassociate myself, I don't want to lose weight, I want to GET FIT.,,,
And this should be your target as well.
