Question: Drink water after eating banana - does it cause stomach ache?
So, apparently it's a rumor that floats around out there, my mum's always told me that since I was a kid, so I decided to do a google search, turns out quite a few people here and there had the same question, but replies are usually "never heard of it/not sure, shouldn't/I don't think so", never concrete answers.
So could any experts give me a scientific reason as to why/why not?

It might be what is called an old wife's tale, something that has not been researched, and has no validity. So, when you have time, consider why this would be. Bananas are mild, and are given to babies with water. So, as I live in another country with roots in Eastern Europe and England as well, have never heard of this.
