My friend only eats one thing a day, what will happen to her?!

Question: My friend only eats one thing a day, what will happen to her?
We both started our diets March 1st, but the huge difference is that mine is healthy. I eat 6 small meals a day, all natural foods. And since March 1st, I lost tons and tons of water weight.
As for my friend, all she really eats is noodles like once everyday and calls me all the time saying shes starving and wonders why its taking long for her to lose weight. Apparently she's done this before for 2 weeks straight and lost 10 pounds but to be perfectly honest, I didn't notice 10 pounds off of her? What's gonna happen to her if she continues doing this over and over again?

Answers:

This is odd, as I know of a girl who ate pasta and only pasta her entire life. She must be in university now. The parents didn't force her to eat anything else. The only thing I noticed as she grew was her teeth did not fully develop. Her doctor said not to worry. I haven't seen her for five years. When I last saw her, probably she was either fully developed or close, and her figure was like her mother's, a pear shape. Pasta is not especially good for weight loss. But, if your friend choses this for her plan, then, like this child, that is her business. She will eventually tire of it, and begin to return to a normal diet when ready. Personal will and choice are what is part of today's culture.

Her diet is very unhealthy and she won't lose much weight. It is, however, way more effective to have a healthy diet and do sports.

her metabolism will slow. therefore, she will stop rapidly losing weight. so then the next time she eats more than usual, she will gain it all back plus more because of the metabolic speed she is currently at. try to convince her otherwise! :)

She will die. That is the only answer. You must stop this ridiculous fad dieting and eat healthily.
