In advance!

*p.s- how many grams should i have a limit per day?

Answers:

26 grams is an awfule lot! Fruit juices such as V-8 and actual fruit are two very different cases. Sugar from fruit is natural where as there is a lot of added sugar in fruit drinks. Best thing is to drink water daily, and stick to eating whole fruits (this way you also get the fiber and full nutrients that comes with). In addition, for strict diets...things off the grocery store shelves they say should contain 5g or less of sugar! Bascially, stay away from pre packaged foods that have a shelf life of a year! Examples - pop tarts, popcicles, sugar cereals, chips, etc. these are the non perishables and for good reason....they contain horrible ingredients. The better the food, the faster it is going to perish or go bad. Granola bars you have to be careful of as well...they are in the category of pop tarts...shop organic and read labels. Fiber bars are great! Hope this helps out a little.

I don't know about how many grams of sugar as all bodies are different and also depend on how much activity you get in. I wouldn't count fruits and veggies as sugar but would steer clear of the juices and pre-packaged bars. Those are always more concentrated and processed sugar. Right now I am following Zuzana on bodyrock.tv who is absolutely amazing. She is feminine but has muscles like crazy. She posts great workouts that can be modified to a beginners level so don't shy away once you see one of her workouts! Also, she is starting diet challenges that I would recommend you read up on. I absolutely agree with her approach to nutrition and going slow so you are more likely to keep these habits as well as let your body get used to small changes here and there. I hope to see you on there!
