How to get out of my lack-of-motivation-to-workout slump?!


Question: How to get out of my lack-of-motivation-to-workout slump?
hi, so i've been doing the insanity workout since september.

Well, i completed the program in november, but to keep my results, i do 3 MAX workouts a week, then some weights twice a week, then i'm always active on the weekends. Also, i play baseball 4 days a week

lately, i've been getting really sick of insanity. Should i take a break from it? How long? A week maybe? cuz i'm getting really sick of it. When i used to do it, i loved every (well, not every :D) second of the workout, now i can't stand putting the DVD in.

How do i get out of this lack of motivation?

also, last month, i've changed my diet, i'm eating less in general, but i'm still getting my vital nutrients and proteins and junk, but could that be effecting my enthusiasm?

Answers:

I think your idea of taking a break from it would be best for your motivation level. Maybe try a different workout DVD for 2 or 3 weeks so you lose your familiarity with Insanity a bit. Doing the same thing for months is 1. Boring and 2. Less effective than mixing it up!
