Did I eat to much today?!


Question: Did I eat to much today?
Okay so I ellipticalled for 17 minutes today burning 150 calories. I then ice skated for 52 minutes.
I had a caprese salad that had tomato, mozzerella cheese, and pesto
baked Chicken breast without skin
then like 1/2 a cup-3/4 cup of penne pasta with pesto.
I know I went wayyy ovver board with the penne with pesto, but should I elliptical more?
14 years old, 5"2, and trying to lose weight

first off, that's probably how much a 14 year old should be eating.
Unless you're overweight or have health issues, you shouldn't be trying to lose weight at your age, it can have bad affects as you grow older, especially if you constantly gain/lose.

If that is ALL you ate today then no, you definitely did not over eat unless you ate like tons of it. Losing weight isn't about starving yourself. It's about eating moderate amounts of food and working out. If you don't get enough calories your metabolism will slow and then you'll just be hungry, weak and still not losing weight.



Honey, you're young. Don't go overboard with watching what you eat unless you are truly in desperate need, which I'm sure you're not. You still have time to grow, develop, and change. Just relax and enjoy yourself, ok? :)



Treat high-calorie foods as jewels in the crown. Make a spoonful of ice cream the jewel and a bowl of fruit the crown. Cut down on the chips by pairing each bite with lots of chunky, filling fresh salsa

The meals are also quite healthy too I can see that...
