Vyvance, eat less, stay healthy?!

Question: Vyvance, eat less, stay healthy?
So one of the most common side effects from the pill Vyvance is loss of appetite. Vyvance is made to treat ADD and depression. I have noticed that I have lost 28 pounds since Jan 3rd. That is quite a bit. I receive weekly check ups to determine if my rapid weight loss is harming my health. Turns out I remain perfectly healthy and now my BMI is 23, pretty good for 19 year old male that doesn't work out. I still eat once the pill wears off but I don't feel hungry while I'm on the pill. Why isn't this pill used for people who are overweight. Or why isn't there a pill like this. Vyvance's side effect is me becoming skinner!

Answers:

Because that would be off-label use. It is not FDA-approved for weight loss-- that is a side effect.

Giving someone who is NOT ADD/ADHD Vyvance could cause psychotic break, heart attack, stroke and a host of other terrible maladies.
