I am not a guy so you may not like hearing from me. Some people are big boned and bones do weigh more. Some people are muscular and that weighs more. You probably could stand do lose some weight but seriously fat is different than saying seriously am I fat. If you feel overweight you are looking to drop some pounds. You can follow diets. There are many published books and I probably tried most or at least read about them. I like learning about the digestion system and what actually is metabolized. If the body can break down the food it needs for nutrients the rest is eliminated. Excess sugar turns to fat. Read "The Beverly Hills" diet by Judy Mazel to learn about food combining and a high carb diet. Also, read Atkins and learn about a high protein diet. I prefer high carbohydrates with fruit and vegetables as the mainstay of the diet and the order we should eat in. Protein is broken down in the stomach and can take 7-12 hours to digest. Carbs get broken down in the mouth as you chew it and enzymes are released except for fruit that breaks down in the stomach all by itself. If foods mix in the stomach incorrectly it will not get digested. Undigested food turns to fat. Good luck.
Body fitness and weight control are lifetime investments. My spouse and I discovered a long time ago that there is no single program which works for everybody, all the time. A program that focuses on lifetime weight control is a much better approach. The only site we've found that seems to understand this is old crow ink. You might want to try them out and see if one of their solutions works for you.
