Protein is healthy if you get it from the right sources!. Food is the best place to get it- eggs are number one!. Fish, chicken, beans and low-fat dairy are also good sources!. Just don't skimp on your fruits and veggies!. They're very important for providing energy!.
I'd avoid protein bars!. Many of them are loaded with calories and even sugar that you don't need!. Shakes may or may not be healthy, depending on which ones you're looking at, and again can be loaded with sugar and calories!.

Protien is good as long as it's healthy protien!.!.!.with low fat!.!.!.!.and the only protien that i can think of comes from!.!.!.vegetarian stuff!.!.!.!.!.like chickpea,soybeans,soy products,lentils,milk,hummus,kidney beans,nuts,sprouts etc!.!.!.!.these are healthy with "good cholestrol"!.!.!.stuff like chicken and fish may be healthy!.!.!.but they contain "bad cholestrol" and!.!.!.!.have a heart!.!.!.animals don't wanna be eaten!.!.!.!.it doesn't make you macho when you eat beef and drink milk!.!.!.cuz they come from the same animal!.!.!.!.!.and eating meat has shown to increase cancer and heart attacks by 37%!.!.!.which means if you're already prone!.!.!.!.!.you have just increased your chances by 37% he heWww@Answer-Health@Com
if you are trying to gain muscle, shot for 1gram of protein per lbs!. of body weight a day!. make sure that you are eating all of your fruits and vegetables as well!.

Maybe you should learn a bit of basic nutrition before you start "makin up muscles!." You can start by learning what protein, fat, and carbohydrates are!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
if you have too much protein it is bad!. have about 70 grams a day and make it healthy protein like fish chicken and milk!. protein keeps u full and builds muscleWww@Answer-Health@Com
