Whats considered a bench press?!

Question: Whats considered a bench press!?
I noticed there are sort of 3 levels when I bench press!. Keeping my arms strait and just moving my shoulders, which moves the bar up and down a few inchs!. Then there is going till my arms form a right angle at my elbow, then there is the bar going right to my chest which is hardest!.

My question is, when someone says: "I can bench xxx lbs 1 rep", does that mean he is going to his chest or right angle arms or just lifting the bar of the rack and moving it over him!. (I mean this question when someone is saying their max weight they can lift)

And I can do these at age 17, 5'6", 150 lbs (Is this good!?):
150 to my chest
200 at right angles
350 lifting above me (thats all my weights though so I can probably do more)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Your 1 rep max is determined by doing a full bench press which is touching your chest and lifting all the way up!. If you want to improve on the bench press, do full ROM (Range of Motion) which is touch chest and go all the way up!. Lifting 350 above you would only make you look stupid if you go around people saying you can bench press 350 when all you're doing is just taking it off the rack!.

So basically a bench press is touch chest and all the way up!. 150lbs bench press is good for a beginner!.

Practice your bench press form and just tap your chest!. Don't exchange heavy weights for imperfect form!. You can get injured and you might be out of bench pressing for life!. So if you do 150lbs with sloppy form, it won't do you any good than lifting 50lbs with perfect form!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most punks don't bench the full ROM and only go 1/2 - 3/4 way down!. You have to hit your chest and go back up!.

You bench your bodyweight, for your age that's about average!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
