Is This The Right Thing To Do To Gain Muscle And Lose Fat?!

Question: Is This The Right Thing To Do To Gain Muscle And Lose Fat!?
Right, for the past 14 years of my life i had been doing no exercise, and eating a lot of bad foods!. Then this year i decided to turn that around, So since easter i've been eating healthly and exercising alot more!. Im not 3 stone lighter, but i feel i still have a few more pounds to lose!. I also want to gain alot of muscle as i am already quite muscley and want to improve!. Ive been doing weight training 5 times a week, spreading it out between muscles, and cardio 4 times a week!. Im on a low calorie diet still, with not much fat involved, but i dont want to add alot to my diet incase it causes fat to be put on!. I just want some advice, am i doing things right, or will i not build muscle because im not eating much!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need some healthy fats in your diet - to not eat fat at all thinking it will cause weight loss is a myth!. it's not WHAT you eat necessarily - it's HOW MUCH!. healthy fats will give you much needed vitamin e, efa's etc!., all of which are great for your brain and cardiovascular system!. it also gives you good cholesterol and helps your body get rid of the bad stuff!.

it's difficult to build appreciable muscle mass while trying to lose fat!. until you are done losing, it would be wise to watch your protein intake as well as ensure you aren't doing too much exercise for the amount of calories you are eating daily because if you are eating too little your body may take from muscle rather than fat!. sometimes it will do this when it thinks you are starving it!. so, on the scale, it will appear as if you are losing - but you are losing the wrong tissue!.

muscle tissue is metabolically active, meaning it burns calories!. fat is not!. the less muscle you have the slower your metabolic rate will be, meaning your body becomes less adept at burning calories, which in turn means you can't eat as much to maintain body weight!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

it really depends!. most weight trainers want to get their desired weight and then start weight training!. but it's perfectly fine to diet and weight train, as long as you have a high protein low fat (and sugars/carbs) diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In general, a HUGE difference isn't noticed when coming from an unhealthy state to a healthy one for about 3/4 of a year of constant workout, with no slips in dieting!.!. If you've been been doing it since Easter, here shortly, some difference should be seen, according to a law of averages!.!. But you said you've been doing weighted workouts, and already have extra weight, so you're probably doing things exactly right!. You have to remember that muscle weighs a bit more than fat, so even though your body is shaping up, and your numbers are staying the same as of now, it's not necessarily a bad thing!.
Good luck, stay on your regimine!Www@Answer-Health@Com
