Question: Is my hunger a side effect of medicine!? I feel hungry but!.!.!?
I feel hungry, but I'm on prednistone (steroid for a rash) and i don't know if its just a side effect of the steroid that is making me THINK i'm hungry!. its 7:33 pm where i'm at and so far today i have had 860 calories (including beverages) this is a really stupid question, i know!.!.!. but i don't want to put on any weight!. also!.!. its an easy 2 points for you guys! so what do you think- 860 calories by 7:33 pm normal or should I eat a little more!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Increased appetite is one of the listed side-effects of prednisone!.(I was on large doses following a kidney transplant and no amount of food could satisfy me!.)
However,at 860 calories in 1 day,I don't think you need to worry about gaining any weight!.Most people require a minimum of 1,000 calories daily just to maintain their weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is very possible see your dr i have heard of this before but would not like to give a difinitive answer as i dont know your history Www@Answer-Health@Com
