Question: I need help shopping for healthy foods so that i can lose weight but don't know what to get!?
If you know a few things please give me some advice on what to eat for breakfast,lunch, and dinner be specific because i never went shopping for healthy food and i don't know what to prepare and i don't know what is good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok well for sure you don't want too much fattening foods, aka chips, sodas, energy drinks, dips, baking goods, candy, alcohol, cheese!.!.!.things like that have a lot of fat!. but its good to have some fat in your diet, 1 you need fat in your system and 2 if you don't give yourself a little bit of what your used to the diet won't work and it'll fall through!. so to start don't just cut out all of that out, just cut back on it and focus more on fruits and other healthy foods!. fruit is a very big and easy way to lose weight, it tastes good and fills you fast!. yogurt and a banana or a bowl of oatmeal is good for breakfast!.!.!.try to avoid a lot of cereals, they are very high in sugar and fat!. for lunch you can make a lean turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread with maybe some lettuce and mustard!.!.mustard is very low in fat, unlike ketchup and mayo!. or you could have a light soup!. or even a salad, but if you have a salad try to have a small amount of dressing (depending on the kind) or just have low fat dressing, if you liek cheese on your salad its ok to have some just not a lot!. for dinner you can have some skinless chicken with a side of corn or potatoes!. and drink low fat or fat free milk!. pasta has a lot of yeast and so it can make you blow up like a balloon!. mostly what you really want is to look at calories!. thats all, just watch your calories!. when you go shopping look on the back of the product, look at the serving size and calories!. it'll help a lot!. and to add to it if you want to lose weight a little faster then take fish oil vitamins!. they really help speed up your metabolism!. then add a little bit of exercise and those punds will just melt away =]] good luck! hope i helped!.

I think you shuld go out an buy a cookbook geared towards people who are trying to lose weight!. Then you will have lots of choices you can pick from!
As far as groceries go, I would recomend fresh produce and no processed foods like frozen dinners and meals in a box!. Try to get stuff with few additives and no hydrogenated vegetable oil!. Get lots and lots of plants! No red meat! You can't digest that stuff and it lines your digestive tract with nasty ****!. Literally!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Obviously fresh fruits and veggies!. Great short cuts are skinless chicken breasts, ground fat free or low fat turkey meat, turkey, ham, etc!. Whole wheat bread (you can now get low calories slice bread)!. Low fat cheese, fat free milk, egg whites, etc!. Great breakfast options include: protein shakes made with fat free milk (many taste like crap, but GNC 100% whey protein shakes are good and fast and made with fat free milk have only around 200 calories), oatmeal (they make all kinds of sugar free flavors which equals low calorie), egg whites and toast or veggies omelet, waffles (Kashi brand blueberry and sugar free syrup), etc!. Snacks include banana, apple, orange, grapes, carrots, etc!. Lunch: grilled chicken breast and baked potato or steamed veggies, whole wheat turkey sandwich with veggies and low fat cheese plus some fruit or veggies, etc!. Dinner can include many of your favorite recipes just substitute with a leaner meat such as ground turkey or similar!. I always keep 98% fat free cream of chicken soup on hand!. You can cook up a serving of rice and mix it with chicken breast and soup for easy chicken and rice!. Add some fajita seasoning to the chicken breasts and grill add onions and peppers if wanted!. Tacos with turkey meat and low fat cheese and whole wheat or low cal tortillas, etc!. Oh yeah, I always keep sugar free pudding and low fat popcorn on hand for snacks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

For breakfast every day I have a Carnation Instant breakfast!. It's a drink mix I put in a water bottle filled with milk!. I can drink it on the way to work so it's easy and quick!. (130 calories and tons of vitamins)!. For lunch I eat a LeanCuisine (most are under 300 calories)!. For a snack at 2:30 I eat twizzlers or bakes chips!. For dinner I eat a huge bowl of non sugary cereal with 1% milk!. This way I get filled up and don't start snacking at 9pm!. So far, I've lost 8 pounds!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Veggies are also a great selection!. Make 1/2 your veggies the dark green leafy ones like spinach, broccoli, etc!.

Fruits - grapefruits and oranges are high in vitamin C which helps speed up your metabolism and burn fat!. Other great fruit choices are apples and pears which a low calorie high fiber fruits

Breads, pastas, etc!. - Select 100% whole grain choices for a healthier choice!. Same for your cereals!.

Milk, cheese, etc - low fat or fat free choices here!.

Protein - make your meats lean cuts!. Add salmon and tuna as these are high in protein and Omega-3 fatty acidsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Oatmeal or a cereal that is high in Fiber like, Fruits and Veggies, Lean protein like Chicken or Turkey breast!. Stay away from soda and other drinks that contain sugar or calories!. Stick with water if you can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
