Question: What do you think I will loose!?
I am starting body bootcamp next week!. I am 5'1 180 lbs!. The camp is 1 hour a day 3 days a week circuit training!.!.!. cardio and weight training back and forth!. If I follow a 1200 calorie diet how much do you think I will lose!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You probably burn around 2000 calories if you do nothing all day!.

So, you'll probably have about an 800 calorie deficit before exercise!. One hour of cardio could burn different amounts!. For every mile you run or walk, you'll be burning about 100 calories!. Of course, it should be noted that you have to subtract off the calories that you would have burned doing nothing in that hour to get a good estimate!.

If you could run at ten minute miles for an hour at six miles, you'd burn 850 calories at that weight, but this is going to be hard to do!. Especially if you haven't been exercising lately!. That's about 730 that you would burn more than if you were resting!.

If you eat more protein, that takes 30% of energy to digest, so that will affect your results as well!.

Anyhow, I'd estimate that you could burn 2 pounds per week with a diet pretty much like this and with the exercise!. This is a terrific amount!. It isn't dangerously high and it will be affective!.

If you can keep this up for less than a year or maybe a year, you could get your weight down to 130 pounds!.

As you weigh less, you'll have to travel farther to burn the same number of calories, but on the other hand, traveling farther will be easier!.

Not too much!. If you are working out that much your body needs fuel to power it!. If you are only giving it 1200 a day, unless you are small to begin with, you will send your body into panic mode, and it will drop your metabolism down to a crawl in order to conserve energy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
