I chew alot of [sugarless] gum, should I add the calories from the gum into my d!
Question: I chew alot of [sugarless] gum, should I add the calories from the gum into my daily allowance!?
The gum only has 5 calories in a piece!.
And I usually chew about 1-2 packs of days [usually 3 - 10 pieces a day]!.
So, should I add the 5 calories from each piece of gum into my calorie counting!.
I usually chew each piece for ATLEAST a 1/2 hour, so would I burn 5 calories doing that!?

good trick, I do it too!. As long as you're not going through like 10 packs a day (can anyone say sore jaw!?) I don't count it cuz I would go mad!. I figure that chewing it for as long as I do would nullify it anyway!. or do like 10 jumping jacks for every piece you chew!. :-) Www@Answer-Health@Com
tbh, do you really think it matters!? it's 50 calories max that you probably burn chewing it or can burn just by walking up stairs over elevators, etc!.
Also, that's a lot of gum, cut it out lol, you don't need that much, and unless you're starving yourself, you can't be that hungry!. You're eating 5-6 meals daily, which comes to 2-3 hours in between meals, get caught up in something (exercise, read a book, see a movie, go hang out with someone, etc), eat protein and fiber, or drink water, much better imo!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
