Question: What amount of calories should I eat a day!?
I'm 5'3", 16 years old, and weigh 140lbs!. My BMI says I'm at risk for being overweight!. =/ And can't figure out how much I should be eating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

youre BMI is 24!.8 which is still within normal range!. just really borderline of becoming overweight, as you said!.

Everyone is different, and so everyone needs different amounts of fats, carbs, calories, etc!. The average is about 2000 calories a day!. Some changes might need to be made to that number because people are different heights, weights, metabolism levels, etc!. It also depends on how active you are!. If you are in sports, you need to take in more calories because you are burning more off!.

just limit yourself a little bit!. dont aim for certain calories, but instead of grabbing 5 cookies grap 1 or 2!. drink water instead of sodas and other high calorie drinks!. Diets are just temperary because once you get off u will wont to eat all teh food u missed and u gain extra weight!. and most important EXERCISEWww@Answer-Health@Com
