Am I doing enough to get in shape?!
Question: Am I doing enough to get in shape!?
I am an overweight 26 year old!. I am trying to lose some weight and get into better physical shape!. I have been drinking about 2 litres of water per day, and eating alot of fruit and veg, and also drinking vanilla tea with no milk or sugar and I have cut out the coffee's and soft drinks!. I have been walking my dog in the morning for about 30 minutes a day!.
Am I doing enough to see positive results!? Do you have any advice for me!?

I lost 120 lbs and was the doctor for The Biggest Loser during seasons 4 and 5!. Your diet sounds good (at least what you described) -- you should keep a food journal (write down foods and amounts, and calories, of everything you eat for a few weeks) to help keep you aware and on track!. Eat enough protein and try to keep it low fat!. No need to drink 2L water a day -- just drink water when you're thirsty!. More than that has never been scientifically shown to have any benefit in weight loss or in athletic performance!.
If you have the time, I would try to improve your exercise to more aggressive (like jogging instead of walking)!. If you can only walk for 30 min a day, make sure you're walking super fast (as if you are chasing a bus, for example)!. For fat loss and getting into shape, you should aim for an exercise intensity so that you're breathing hard enough that i would be uncomfortable to carry on a conversation with someone!.
A realistic weight goal would probably be about 80-85 kg if you're 5'11"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
